MARTIN SIMPSON MASTER GUITAR WORKSHOP SERIES 2007

Martin Simpson is known and respected worldwide for the clarity, strength, and beauty of his playing. Along with John Renbourne, Davey Graham, Bert Jansch, and Martin Carthy, Simpson's playing has greatly influenced the world of fingerstyle guitar. He is also an outstanding teacher - fun, supportive and informative. Students of all levels have expressed delight at his workshops. He has been a teacher and guest lecturer at, among other places, UCSC, Full Sail, Musicians Institute (Los Angeles and Tokyo), and The National Guitar Summer Workshop.

Martin Simpson's unique overview system for understanding open tunings is clear and simple. Other specific topics covered in his workshops include slide guitar, right hand percussion, arranging and general issues of musicality such as tone, vibrato, and overall technique. His workshops are open to players of all levels, you just have to be desirous of learning!
